Test 1 - use of the improved Glowmax for 12 months in an AGA at the AGA test facility in Telford. Results were outstanding.
Test 2 - our extensive field trial with 26 AGA and Rayburn cookers and boiler users. All appliances were regularly tested by independent OFTEC-approved engineers and all passed with flying colours. View the checklists that were completed by the OFTEC approved engineers. Test 3 - Samples of oil taken from the customers’ tanks were analysed in the laboratory. Results were excellent. * Yes, it has been successfully trialled and tested by AGA.
What’s the difference between Glowmax with the enhanced formula and the original Glowmax? * The additive’s formula has been altered. After conducting an extensive field research programme, we have refined and developed the formula, leading to an improved product. Subsequent field trials with numerous customers have been extremely successful.
What’s the difference between Glowmax with the enhanced formula and standard kerosene? * Glowmax produces less carbon than standard kerosene, leading to a better performance of your boiler, AGA or Rayburn cooker
* Glowmax protects oil-fired appliances against corrosion and keeps them in optimum condition * Glowmax has a cleaner storage and burning process. This means the fuel quality is maintained, further protecting oil-fired appliances * Glowmax is kinder on your oil fuel system, meaning fewer emergency call-outs. Can I mix it with Kerosene / the existing Glowmax or do I need to drain the tank? * You can mix it with kerosene or Glowmax
* You do not need to drain the tank * Yes, very successfully. There were a number of Rayburn users on our consumer field trials and they all showed excellent results.
